Traditional Pattern 2.

This pattern is a I - IV - V - I progression. You should also play this chord pattern in the key of D major.

The Scale Degree Relationship Chart will be of help if you are not sure how to transpose the progression.

Remember to keep the left hand fingers curved and only use the finger tips to fret the notes.

Traditional Pattern 3.

Another well used pattern is the I - IV - I - V progression.

Once again it will help your development to transpose this pattern to D Major.
